Palm Beach County is Florida’s largest county by land area and its third most populous, home to roughly 1.5 million residents across 39 incorporated municipalities plus a large unincorporated area. The county spans a wide range of environments, from the dense financial and corporate corridor in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton to the agricultural communities of the Glades region near Lake Okeechobee.
Downtown West Palm Beach, Boca Raton’s office and hospitality corridor, and the Atlantic Avenue district in Delray Beach have all seen significant new commercial construction in recent years, alongside older coastal buildings that still require fire alarm upgrades. Coastal properties throughout the county fall under Florida’s high-wind, hurricane-resistant construction requirements, and fire alarm equipment and enclosures need to be selected accordingly.
Universal Fire & Security Services has built its fire alarm and fire protection practice around this environment. We hold current Florida licensure (EC-13010477, EF-20001077) and work directly with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and municipal fire marshals across the county on plan review, installation, and annual certification.
